For the treatment of neonatal pulmonary insufficiency when the child’s condition is associated with high pulmonary hypertension. This condition is called hypoxic respiratory failure. When inhaled, nitric oxide can improve blood flow to the lungs, which may increase the amount of oxygen in your baby’s blood.
Treating children (from newborns to teenagers, 0-17 years) and adults with high pulmonary hypertension after heart surgery. This gas mixture can improve heart function and increase blood flow through the lungs, which can help increase the amount of oxygen entering the blood.
